Announcement for Diploma in Field Epidemiology selection exam, 2008

Date of selection exam for King Saud University And Ministry of health Diploma in Field Epidemiology will be held on Saturday 3rd of May 2008 , 27th of Rabi II 1429 and the deadline for submission of the aplication will be on Saturday 12th of April 2008 , 6th of Rabi II 1429.Eligibility Criteria :1- M.B.B.S degree or Equivalent with a grade of "Good" or better.2- Completion of the year of internship with "Good" or better ratings on every service.3- Being a Saudi National. One applicant can be accepted each year from MOH of GCC countries or Yemen.4- Working in Ministry of Health,KSA. One aplicant from other health sectors in the Kingdom can be accepted each year.5- Not already possesing a postgraduate qualification.6- Letter of "no objection" from his sponsor for the whole duration of the program in case of acceptance.7- Ability of working in Feild Epidemiology with it's frequent traveling , even so far. Note: priority will be given to recent graduates and candidates from the regions of shortage in F.E.T.P graduates.

Increasing drugs resistant of Malaria parasites and increasing the resistances of mosquitoes to insecticide are other factors that make malaria vaccine a big priority.
